archetype decks

I did not had the opportunity to go to Stockholm and attend the EC, but I guess the meta over there is a little bit harder then here, probably because every table has a kyasid, anson, nana, eurobrujah, weenie aus, or whatever archetype deck that have proven their strengths. In our playgroup we seem not that interested in using this kind of decks, which in a way I applaud; long live creative deckbuilding! On the other hand, when attending tournaments, the results can be ... different then expected. So, since we have a league, I will try to start making these uncreative decks in an attempt to point out the strengths of these deck and expose possible weaknesses of our own decks. I hope other players will also start building these basic types of decks so we get really "strong tables" and we can test our creative attempts once in a while in these harsh conditions. The league, in my opinion, should be some kind of tournament environment to test decks and value them but right now we re not yet there ... i think.
This is NOT in any way a judgement on anybody's deckbuildingskills or playstyle! And I love making or playing decks with x moving parts where x = 10+! So Peter, if you play weenie dementation again, and I start nagging, please refer to this post!

I also thought about building these decks for the playgroup, so we all have acces to fe anson/ashur/cel guns ... but I haven't figured out how to yet;
so any ideas on how to make tier 1 decks available for everybody ....

Stockholm was 1/3 Lasombra/Kiasyd S&B, 1/3 animalism rush and 1/3 other shizzle.
Since most of us run our own collections, here is how I see an archetype pool growing:
We list here what archetypes we currently have as built decks.
We fill the gaps, so that each of us has 3-4 such decks available at any time.

I currently have:
1 Kiasyd S&B group 4-5
1 dem/DEM Kindred Spirits
1 midcap POT rush with pre/PRE bleed

I can easily build
1 Tunnel Runner deck (the one with dominate)
1 law firm
1 nosferoyalty

It's not bad that we even have doubles in the deck pool :)
This would also mean that we play each other's decks from time to time to spice things up or even greatly improve.

I now have:
1 dem/DEM Kindred Spirits (minor optimalisation needed)
1 imbued (pretty much finished)
1 lasombra/kyasid powerbleed (optimalisation needed)
(I don't count the aabbt or the presence vote as tier 1)

I set myself the goal to build a new deck and to optimise (adjust) 1 other deck every month.
Next optimalisation will be the lasombra/kyasid. Next new deck (the one for november)... I'll let you find out in the league game :P

Bram, isn't antonio/nephandus a tier 1 deck too? I do think it would if you made some adjustments.

Nephandus is definitely considered tier 1. See here for TWDs with them: www.secretlibrary.info/index.php?deck=l711

So the question rises: Is Bram just being modest, or is he trying to decieve us? B)
